facts about facial expressions
*The face has around 90 muscles in it, and about 30 of these are purely expressing emotion.therefore the face can be used tos end many non verbal signals.
*Facial expressions are largely universal, products of biological imperatives. human beings are somehow programmed to understand and interpret different facial expression displayed by different ones. "The abilities to express and recognize emotion are inborn, genetic, evolutionary,"- (George Rotter).
* Smiles are such an important part of communication that we see them far more clearly than any other expression.
